I want to get rid of this. I do not have the controls to remove Edit or Grammar check.
This is recent. It has no value to me other than interference. CMD Shift does nothing. Right click offers word replacements that have no relevance or connection, to the selected area.

In 'Support' << Clear all text formatting>> hasno reference to outlook, just Word.

This has nothing to do with LinkedIn.

This is like a disease ....

    Hi Don TANSWELL

I understand how frustrating it can be when a feature suddenly starts appearing while you're composing emails, especially if it interrupts your workflow.

Based on the information provided, it sounds like Outlook may be displaying Microsoft Editor (spelling/grammar) suggestions while you're composing messages.

Could you please confirm one detail:

    • Are the lines appearing under words/sentences while you type, or are they horizontal lines/borders within the email body itself?

In the meantime, if these are grammar or spelling markings, please try the following:

    1. Open Outlook and select "Outlook" > "Settings".
    2. Open "Spelling and Grammar" (or "Proofing", depending on the version shown).
    3. Turn off options such as "Check spelling while typing" and "Check grammar with spelling" if available.
    4. Close and reopen Outlook, then create a new message and see whether the markings still appear
