sd card reader not working

sd card reader is not picking up card or reading it

iwould like to know how to make it work

Check the card and see if it has a way to lock/unlock it. Make sure it is not locked.

If that is an external card reader, connect it to each available port to check if it is working.

If not, connect the card reader to another PC to test if the card reader is working there.

If that is an internal card reader, is it not reading one SD card or all SD cards?

Insert an SD card into the card reader on your PC.

Right click your Start Button and open Disk Management.

Expand the bottom pane in Disk Management so all drives are visible in there.

Right click your Start Button and open Device Manager.

Expand the Disk Drives section.
