I purchased a Microsoft365 Basic and keep getting error 0x0 message and have tried every suggestion and still not working.

I am running Mac Book Pro OS Tahoe.

I cannot find MAU and I cannot find /Library/Application....

Have downloaded the Microsoft Autoupdate pkg and tried that...didn't work and also tried he license removal pkg didn't work

When I go to Excel or Word from my DOCK and bring it up it does not activate.

Please help

Microsoft 365 Basic does not include the desktop applications so there is no inclusion of Microsoft AutoUpdate. The Basic subscription allows use of only the Office online web apps through a browser.

I updated my Mac to Tahoe before the July 13th deadline. IT's running Tahoe OS 26.5.2

Which version of macOS are you using?

Since there was a licensing update on July 13, 2026, this could be related to your issue depending on your macOS version.
