Asking for refund, please

I jupdated my macOS Air to Montery 12.7. This is the newest version this computer can go. Microsoft 365 requires an update to 14. I have to purchase a new computer to have that. My subscription that i purchased after the update on 7/8 did not result in a working Excel, than i tried updating again and purchased a new subscription on 7/24. Still did not work. Did another purchase of subscription on 7/24. Still nothing. Then i learned that i need version 14. I canceled each time i purchased microsoft 365, yet, i was charged for all 3 purchases. May i have a refund? I will subscribe when i have my new computer. Please email your response to Kisstimea4@yahoo,com

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know about this and I understand that you have a Macbook that is running on macOS Monterey 12.7.6 and you are looking into installing Microsoft 365 on it but you are also asking for a refund.

Please the below link and look for version 16.88 or 16.89.1 which is the ones that is compatible for the macOS that is running on your device and let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your quick reply, Paul. I decided to buy another computer because this one is quite old so if you don’t mind, could you please process the refund for the three transactions I made for $9.99 each? I will not have time to buy a new computer for about two weeks because I’m working every day until the second week in August. When I have the new one, I will subscribe for Microsoft 365 Store.

You are welcome and as you have an existing subscription, you will need to cancel it first and then you can go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365/billing and try it from there or try to turn off the recurring billing at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2277073 and you can also follow the guided steps indicated from the links below.

Hello again, I spent about an hour trying to get to the option of refund, but it’s taking me in circles. This last time I tried a note popped up, saying we are currently experiencing an issue with activating Microsoft 365 Store. I am not trying to activating about getting the refund. Can you process that for me? I paid $9.99 three times and due to not able to update computer to the level where Microsoft can be installed, I canceled all the subscriptions. I just need the refund. Thank you.

Sorry to know about this and this is a user to user forum and there is no internal access here to process a refund and in this case you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in to contact Support and login and proceed from there.
