No, you can't. I suggest to use cloud backup, OneDrive preferable. On old computer, back all data to OneDrive. On new computer, use same Microsoft account on OneDrive, download all backup-ed data.

Nope - you cannot transfer files directly between two Windows computers using an HDMI-to-HDMI cable. HDMI is designed exclusively to carry video and audio signals from a source device to a display device. It does not support file sharing or general data communication between computers. In addition, the HDMI ports on nearly all desktop and laptop computers are HDMI outputs, not inputs.

However, for transferring files between two Windows Home computers, you have a few other options.

A USB flash drive is probably the simplest one. Copy the files from the old computer to the USB drive, safely eject it, connect it to the new computer, and then copy the files to their desired location. This method works well for small to moderate amounts of data.

An external hard drive or SSD is better suited for larger transfers, such as hundreds of gigabytes of documents, photos, music, and videos. The process is the same as using a USB flash drive but offers much higher storage capacity and, with USB 3.0 or later, significantly faster transfer speeds.

If both computers are connected to the same home network, you can transfer files over the network by enabling File and Printer Sharing. Share a folder on the old computer, then access it from the new computer using File Explorer. This eliminates the need for removable storage and is convenient for transferring many files.
