Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management

First, confirm your internet connection is working. Then close Outlook completely, reopen it, select Send/Receive, and click Work Offline once. Wait a few seconds—the button should no longer be highlighted and “Working Offline” should disappear from the bottom of Outlook.

If it remains stuck, go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings, select your email account, choose Repair, and restart Outlook.
If the Repair option is unavailable, repair Office through Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft 365 or Office > Modify > Quick Repair.
