Printers keep disappearing

I have Windows 11. My printers disappear constantly. The computer will say that no printers are installed. Rebooting brings them back. It used to happen occasionally, but now it is happening every few minutes. Today I had to reboot 3 times in 10 minutes to get my printers back. I have several installed, but only one hooked up my Epson. I had this problem previously when I used a Cannon printer.

    Hi,

I will work with you on this problem.

I'm going to run through a few steps with you. Some of these are diagnostic — they help me narrow down what's wrong, not fix it outright. So if nothing changes after a step, that's normal and expected, not a dead end. I'll keep going until we've got this resolved.

Please note when the printers disappear. Immediately after that,

Press Windows+R keys on the keyboard, or Right-click Start on the Taskbar and choose Run.

    Type services.msc

    Press Enter.

Locate the Print Spooler service. Let me know if its status is running/stopped/blank.

I look forward to hearing from you to get the results of the troubleshooting.
