Physical sector size is a hardware characteristic reported by the storage device's firmware. Windows reads and uses that information, but it does not allow you to change it via Registry or otherwise. A 512e drive reports a 4 KB physical sector with 512-byte logical sectors, while a 4Kn drive reports both logical and physical sectors as 4 KB. Those characteristics are determined by the drive itself.
