Temp storage with VM's migrated from on-prem

When migrating a VM from on-prem to Azure they aren't created with the temp storage. Is this normal? Is it possible to add the storage?

To answer your question it depends on the VM size that you are using , I know that there are few which doesn't have the temp storage .

I chose an E series. All E series has temp storage and the VM I migrated has not temp storage.

Also when looking at changing size now that the VM is in Azure all E series options show 0gb temp for all SKU's.

My question is specific to on prem VM's migrated to Azure. Does that change the options? It certainly appears it does from our end.

Firstly if a VM is created without local temp space , We don't have a way to resize the VM to achieve it .
But You can use the following to create local Temp storage:

Secondly to answer the question about the On-prem Migration , Can you please provide us more details as follows:

In your On-prem Server did you have a local temp storage ?

What is the OS version of your On-prem Server ?

Can you provide me the steps that you have used to migrate your on-prem to Azure ?

What is the exact size and shape of your current VM in Azure ?
