I noticed a charge on my account for an Xbox subscription. My household does not have an Xbox and has never had one. I did not authorize this subscription. I have already cancelled it but I also want a full refund as it was not authorized by me and I am the account holder.

    Hello Jessica Askins

I understand your concern, especially since no one in your household uses Xbox.

Cancelling the subscription stops future renewals, but it does not automatically issue a refund.

Please sign in to Microsoft Services and subscriptions, locate the cancelled Xbox subscription, and check whether a refund option is displayed. Refund eligibility is determined during the cancellation process.

Because you do not recognize the charge, you should also use the Investigate option on the Manage your payments page. This may help identify which Microsoft account made the purchase.

If no refund option appears, contact Microsoft Support for further assistance:

If you believe your payment details were compromised, please also contact your bank or card provider to secure the card and prevent further unauthorized charges.

I hope the support can help you resolve this promptly.

    Have a nice day
