We have a subscription to 365 but need a full functionable Word, how do we upgrade to get that and how much would that be?

Are you using Windows or Mac?

Which Word features are missing or unavailable?

Some Microsoft 365 plans already include the full desktop version of Word, so an upgrade may not be necessary.

Which subscription version do you have? Microsoft 365 Personal, for example, will let you install the full versions of the Office apps, assuming that you have a PC or Mac.

Office apps are more limited if you have a mobile device (Android, iPadOS, iOS). Apps are not supported at all if you are on a Chromebook, which only lets you run the web versions of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
