I have two microsoft accounts one for private use(Account A) and one business account(Account B) that I have recieved from the company where I work at. I want to share my present and upcoming accomplishments like badges, certificates and thropies with my personal account so I will keep my certificates, badges and thropies even though I stopped working.
According to this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/support/faq?pivots=profile I can merge the accounts together by simply adding the account in my profile settings and they will get eventually merged together. Great, sounds good but I have a few questions about it.
- What happens when a account gets deleted after two accounts have been merged together. Does the non-deleted account still have the certificates, badges and thropies? (a similar case is that I don't have access to my business account anymore because I stopped working for them)
- Is there a diffrence between merging my personal account into my business account and merging my business account into my personal account?
