Apparently password for my @outlook.com and @ hotmail.com accounts is the same as my Microsoft account password.

I've got 5 of these email accounts.

1 account is for a club.

Somebody else is taking over the club & wants to keep the email account.

How do they change the password so they can log on & I cant ......so my 4 remaining email accounts remain with my password ?

Thanks

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

If these are five separate Microsoft accounts, changing the Password for one account will only affect that account. It will not change the passwords for the other four accounts.

To specifically change the password for that one Microsoft account (Which is your club account) -

    1. Open an incognito tab and sign in with your Microsoft account.
    2. Since it is a Personal account, use the following link to reset the password - https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx
    3. Make sure you use the Microsoft account (Club account address) and follow the prompts to reset the password.
    4. Once done, they can sign in with the Microsoft account with new password.

*You can share only the password reset link and the email address for the club account, without sharing the password. That way, they won’t know the password but may still be able to reset it and sign in.
