Runtime error 13 usually means “Type mismatch.” It is often caused by a macro, add-in, or compatibility issue in the income tax software.
Please confirm:
- Does the error appear when opening the tax software or after selecting a specific option?
- What is the exact name and version of the income tax software?
- Is your Excel 2019 installation 32-bit or 64-bit? You can check under “File” > “Account” > “About Excel.”
Also, did the software work correctly before, and has Excel or the tax software recently been updated?
