I am a Windows 11 user and have installed the Urdu language package. However, the package does not include the Urdu Phonetic Keyboard, which is essential for typing Urdu efficiently and accurately.

This keyboard layout is widely used, and its absence makes Urdu typing significantly more difficult for users. Could you please clarify why the phonetic keyboard option is not currently available in Windows 11, and whether Microsoft plans to add it in an upcoming update?

Hi Aamir,

I am afraid it is not available directly from the Language pack I believe.

I installed the following:

https://www.cle.org.pk/software/localization/keyboards/windowsphonetickb.html

It does help to type in Urdu.
