I uploaded a zip file to my OneDrive but a week later when I went to look for it, it had disappeared with no indicated that it had been uploaded. Is there any chance of recovery?

Hello, thanks for your response. The issue is that it looks like the zip file was never uploaded (not present in the recycling bin nor through the restore your onedrive feature), though I'm positive it was. It's very strange, and I'm wondering if there is any explanation for this.
Log into OneDrive in a web browser (https://onedrive.live.com/).
If you cannot find the file, click the Recycle Bin on the left to check if the file is available in there.
If not, if you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, at the top right of OneDrive, click the gear icon and select Settings.
Then on the left, you should see an option to 'Recover My OneDrive' try using that to recover the zip file.
This is very strange, if none of those options did not enable you to recover the file, most likely the file was never uploaded and there is no real explanation on why that happened, if you are using a Mac, did you check your iCloud account online to see if the file is available there.
