How do i speak with someone for assistance - I have been trying and I am just going in circles. I am not a tech person. I called my e-mail company and it looks like the problem is on the Microsoft side

    Hi Tony Amos,

I understand that you have already contacted your email provider and were advised that the matter may be related to the Microsoft side. However, the current description does not identify the exact email problem.

Could you please confirm the following?

    1. Is the affected address a personal Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN account, or is it supplied by another email provider?
    2. What exactly happens when you use the account? For example, are you unable to send or receive messages, are emails missing, or are you unable to sign in?
    3. Do you see any message or code? If so, please provide the exact wording, but remove your email address or any other personal information before posting it.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access your mailbox or Microsoft’s account systems. If this is a personal Outlook.com account and you can sign in, you can contact Outlook.com Support as follows:

    1. Go to Outlook.com and sign in.
    2. Select the Help icon, the question mark, in the upper-right corner.
    3. In the Help pane that opens, search for "email management", then press Enter.
    4. Scroll down the page until you see "Still need help?", click Yes.
    5. Choose "Chat with a support agent in your web browser."
    6. Review the issue description and confirm an email address you can access.
    7. Click Confirm to create the service request. The screen will indicate that your request has been submitted and the system is connecting you to Outlook.com live chat support, which may take a moment to load.

You can also review the official instructions here: How to get support for Outlook.com.

Once you provide the exact symptom and account type, the community can determine whether any appropriate troubleshooting can be tried before support investigates further.
