I got this message from ?Co-pilot: You're close to your monthly Tasks limit. Your Tasks refresh next month. What does this mean?

That message means you have used almost all of your assigned Microsoft Copilot Tasks allowance for the current billing cycle. Tasks are higher-resource AI actions, such as complex automated workflows, multi-step agent operations, or other advanced processing, and they consume your monthly task quota.

The limit exists to manage service capacity and prevent excessive usage spikes. Some requests that appear simple may still count as a full task if they require deeper processing or multiple AI steps behind the scenes.

You should be able to continue using standard Copilot chat features if they are available, but task-based features may be temporarily unavailable or limited until your allowance resets.

Your task quota should automatically refresh at the start of the next billing period or month. No action is required from you -- once the reset occurs, your available task allowance will return.
