Looking for a Serial Number to validate Amazon Gift Card (Rewards)

Question

how to get a Serial Number for my Rewards Amazon gift card? The link to redeem with Amazon was non-functional; my contact with Amazon suggested to ask MS for a Security Code to validate. I am still a MS365 subscriber and was hoping for much easier access than this has taken me so far.

For a Microsoft Rewards Amazon gift card, the code is obtained from Order History. There is no separate Microsoft-provided “serial number” described here beyond the reward code or redemption link shown for the order.

Steps:

1. Open your Rewards Order History: https://rewards.microsoft.com/redeem/orderhistory?redref=amc
2. Find the Amazon gift card order.
3. Select Order Details to get the redemption code or link.
4. If available, select Resend to send the confirmation email again.

If the reward was just redeemed, the code may appear within a day. If the order is still in progress, wait up to 24 hours and check the confirmation email, including spam or junk folders.

If the code or link is invalid, verify that the correct code or redemption link is being used. If the issue continues, use the Microsoft Rewards support channel for validation and help with the reward.
