Help to get all Authenticator Code from the old phone on the new phone ?

Question

My problem is i got a new phone and the codes from the authenticator app didn't transfer from my old phone to the new phone and my problem is i cant get the codes to deactivate the 2FA and reactivate the 2FA with the new Phone cqn somebody help me pls

Restore from Microsoft Authenticator Backup (Easiest)

Install Microsoft Authenticator on the new phone.

Open the app and sign in with the same Microsoft account used on the old phone.

Choose Restore from backup when prompted.

Your accounts should reappear in the app.

If the old phone is still available, use it first. Keep the old phone until sign-in works on the new phone.

1. On the old phone, enable backup in Microsoft Authenticator.
   • Android: Authenticator > Settings > turn on Cloud Backup > choose a Microsoft personal account.
   • iPhone: enable iCloud Drive, iCloud Keychain, and iCloud Backup, then go to Apple Account > iCloud > Saved to iCloud and turn on Authenticator.
2. On the new phone, install Microsoft Authenticator and restore from the same recovery account.
3. After restore, check the account type:
   • Work or school account: only the account name is restored. Open the account and sign in again to complete setup. Seeing “Sign in to add your account.” is expected.
   • Personal Microsoft account: if it uses only 30-second one-time password codes, the code entry is restored. If it also uses passwordless sign-in, sign in again to complete setup.
   • Third-party accounts such as Amazon, Facebook, or Gmail: the 30-second verification code entry is typically restored.

If restore is not available:

• Verify backup was enabled on the old phone.
• Verify the same recovery account is being used.
• Verify restore is being done to the same device type.
• On iPhone, make sure Authenticator is version 6.8.33 or later, open the app at least once on the old device before switching, then uninstall and reinstall Authenticator on the new device.

If the old phone is no longer usable and there is no other sign-in method:

• For a work or school account, contact the organization’s IT admin or help desk. They may need to reset MFA or require re-registration.
• If another verification method is available during sign-in, use “I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now” or another available option, then add Authenticator on the new phone from the Security info page.

If notifications or approval prompts still go to the old phone, the old device may still be the active Authenticator device. Approve on the old phone if possible, then remove the old device after the new phone is working.
