- Have you already tried opening a new support case instead?
- May I ask what issue you are contacting support about?
- Are you using a personal Microsoft account, such as Outlook or Hotmail, or is this for Microsoft 365 Business?

2026-08-02T19:03:19.16+00:00 - yes I have. It marks it as resolved afer a few minutes, and locks me out for 24 hours if I go over two requests in a day
- I was trying to move outlook ost files from my C: drive to my E: drive to free up space
- I am using a personal Microsoft 365 account

Before we suggest any steps, could you provide a few more details?
- What happens when you try to move the
.ostfile from theC:drive to theE:drive? - What steps have you already tried?
- What instructions or troubleshooting did Microsoft Support give you before the case was marked resolved?
- Are you using classic Outlook or the new Outlook for Windows?
- Is the
E:drive an internal drive or an external USB drive?
Please do not delete or manually move the
