Extended Security Updates will continue until October 12, 2027. However, hackers may decide to attack Windows 10 from vectors not covered by ESUs, so it's always better to have the most-up-to-date version of Windows.

Regular Windows 10 support already ended on October 14, 2025.
If your PC runs an eligible edition of Windows 10 version 22H2, you can enroll in the Consumer Extended Security Updates program. ESU provides critical and important security updates through October 12, 2027 but it does not include feature improvements, other fixes, or technical support.

So, if you plan to keep using Windows 10, either enroll in ESU or move to Windows 11 when practical.
