Hey all,

I could use some help. I recently downloaded office 365 and set up outlook with a custom domain (already purchased). When I log into the web version of outlook it shows a randomly generated outlook email address (******@outlook.com) instead of "myname"@businessname.com. Then I use the classic app version, the mailbox column on the left sides shows the correct custom domain but the email recipient receives the email from the randomly generated outlook email even though it's sent from the correct address. The new app version appears to be working correctly and the email is sent from the intended email address. Really confused here and I haven't found a solution. Any help would be appreciated!

Go to https://outlook.office365.com/mail/ and check if that is your business mail.

In outlook classic, click on File, Account settings, then select Account settings. Is there one account in the list?

Go to admin.microsoft.com click on Users, Active Users. Find your email and click on it. Click on Manage username and email. What address is listed as your primary email address and username?
