However, I am consistently running into structural limitations that make advanced use difficult:
Chat container isolation Capabilities available in one chat (e.g., reading uploaded files, analyzing spreadsheets, referencing documents) often do not carry over to another chat. This creates inconsistent behavior and forces me to rebuild context repeatedly.
Multi‑document workflows I frequently work with dozens of documents across multiple domains (SSA, VA, academic syllabi, resumes, transcripts, etc.). Copilot does not currently support a unified workspace where these documents can be referenced across threads.
Multi‑thread task management My work spans several parallel arcs (career, federal benefits, academic preparation, family logistics). Copilot’s single‑threaded chat model makes it difficult to maintain continuity across these arcs.
Need for advanced organizational tools A “Copilot Workspace” or “Project Mode” that allows persistent documents, memory, and multi‑step workflows would dramatically improve usability for users managing complex systems.
Looking ahead, I want to build even more advanced systems inside Copilot, including:
