Hi Peter,
Thanks for confirming. Since it follows the copied text, the document may contain damaged formatting or an embedded link.
Please try this:
- Open a new blank Word document.
- Copy the text from the affected document.
- In the new document, right-click and choose "Keep Text Only" under Paste Options.
- Press
Enterand check whether it creates a new line normally.
This removes the original formatting but keeps the text.
If it still opens OneDrive, what exactly appears: a OneDrive folder, the OneDrive app, or a browser page?
Also, does this happen wherever you place the cursor, or only at a particular part of the document?
Thanks!
