PC GPU Crash randomly.

Question

I've recently had some issues with my PC GPU crashing randomly. It seems to only happen once, That's after first booting the PC. afterwards I can use it and game for hours without issues.

Symptoms and events in step so far
PC Hangs and freezes, Still audio
I can try a GPU reboot using Win+CRTL+SHIFT+B and this does not solve it
AUDIO Cuts out, Display drops. Monitors show no signal
PC Attempts to reboot the GPU but fails
PC Restarts

I've checked MDMP File and the reliability report and it shows ERROR 117 (Reliablity) and the MDMP file does show as the NVIDIA.exe (I don't use the app.). Currently on using an RTX 3060 and on driver version 610.88.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues with this driver aswell as what driver to potentially rollback to.

Please check to see if your PC is producing any small Watchdog dump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

Open Windows File Explorer.

Navigate to C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports

If there are any Watchdog dump files in the sub-folders of that folder, copy the files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so I can take a look for you.
