    Hi @Dharmendra Kuymar

Have you already set up Microsoft Authenticator for your Microsoft 365 admin account (the account created when first purchased the business subscription)?

Please open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and check whether you can see your Microsoft 365 Admin account (the admin email address you use to sign in to the Admin Center).

    • For work account, it will show 6 digit code.
    • For personal account, it will shoe 8 digit code.

So if you are seeing 8 digit code, it is not the admin account for your work.

If the admin account is not listed in the Authenticator app, the MFA setup may not have been completed. In this case, can you still log in via https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info with your admin credentials.

And also, this is user to user forum, if you'd like to have an support engineer to work with you, you will need to open a support ticket. But before doing that, please let me know your situation and I will help you with the next steps.

To assign licenses in the Microsoft 365 admin center, first confirm the account has at least the License Administrator or User Administrator role.

A simple way to manage licenses for specific users is through Users > Active users:

    1. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    2. Go to Users > Active users.
    3. Select the user.
    4. In the right pane, select Licenses and Apps.
    5. Expand Licenses.
    6. Select the license to assign, then select Save changes.

To assign licenses to multiple users:

    1. Go to Users > Active users.
    2. Select the users.
    3. Select Manage product licenses.
    4. Choose Assign more: Keep the existing licenses and assign more > Next.
    5. Select the license.
    6. If needed, deselect specific services the users should not have.
    7. Select Save changes.

Another option is the Billing > Licenses page, which is useful when assigning users to a specific product:

    1. Go to Billing > Licenses.
    2. Select the product.
    3. Select Assign licenses.
    4. Type the user or group name and select it from the results.
    5. Optionally select Turn apps and services on or off.
    6. Select Assign.

If license assignment fails, check Errors & Issues for the product. Common causes are:

    • No available licenses
    • Conflicting services or license plans
    • Invalid usage location

After fixing the issue, select the affected user in Errors & Issues and choose Reprocess.

If the environment uses synchronized on-premises Active Directory accounts, each user must have a user location configured before or while assigning the license.

For larger sets of users, group-based licensing in Microsoft Entra ID can automatically assign or unassign licenses based on group membership.
