the Azure DNS server stopped resolving for the records set CNAME.

My website, https://www.domecqconsulting.com/ , hosted on Power Pages is no longer resolving to my DNS managed in Azure DNS.

Confirm that the registrar’s delegation for your domain points to the exact NS name servers that Azure assigned for that Azure DNS zone.

If the registrar still has incorrect/old NS records, public DNS lookups will fail (even though the record is configured in Azure).

Validate what NS records are being returned

Use a tool like dig / nslookup or the referenced NS-check website to ensure the public internet is querying the correct NS delegation.

The troubleshooting doc recommends using Digwebinterface or nslookup -type=NS <domain> / dig -NS <domain> to confirm your NS records.

Once delegation is corrected, public resolution should recover After the registrar delegation is updated correctly, DNS resolution should start working properly for the CNAME.

The issue is that my Power Pages and site working correctly with the DNS configurations hosted by Azure.

There were no configuration changes and the DNS for my domain www.domecqconsulting.com still points to Azure as before.

It makes no sense why it stopped working.

Hi,

The Power Pages site (dcpartners.powerappsportals.com) that your FQDN (www.domecqconsulting.com) is pointing to is not returning an IP or CNAME record. Azure DNS for www.domecqconsulting.com is working properly.

Please investigate over on Power Pages side of things and make sure everything is working and configured properly. You may want to try testing your site by using its default url (dcpartners.powerappsportals.com) until it is working.
