Deleted Account Data

When I delete my Microsoft account, and the 30/60 days have passed so it is fully deleted, how long before all my personal data, including IP addresses, are erased permanently from servers, backups, caches, tapes etc?

    Hello @Shannon M ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Hope you are referring to consumer account (Microsoft Account Outlook.com), if so then based on your selection either 30/60 days while closing account that's when Microsoft permanently close your account and delete all related personal data.

    However, I would recommend you to ask the experts in the dedicated Community forum over here since Microsoft Account is currently not supported in this Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).
