2FA question

I'm currently using Microsoft Authenticator app for my Roblox account which I deleted the account on the authenticator which was made by me but now I have a new phone and I cannot access the account which is synced to my Roblox account. I have contacted the Roblox support team and they have said that I needed to contact Microsoft 2FA. I do not have access to my recovery codes and my backup does not go far back as the account.

Normal account recovery is via the process:

But you can not use the Account Recovery process for an account with Two Factor authentication. Which it sounds like you have.

Then your only remaining option is an Account Security Reset. But you must be able to complete one verification method.

If you remember the password but do not have access to the security codes, you can try this link: https://account.live.com/proofs/marklost.

It is part of Microsoft’s account recovery system — it is used to mark a security proof (like your phone number or email address) as lost or no longer accessible.
