Just to clarify, are you trying to activate Windows on the new laptop, or are you trying to download and activate Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365?
If you mean Windows:
- Was Windows originally purchased separately from Microsoft or a retailer, or did it come preinstalled on your old computer?
- Do you still have access to the old computer?
- What activation error or code are you getting on the new laptop?
This matters because some Windows licenses use a digital license instead of a product key, and a license that came preinstalled on an old PC may not be transferable to another computer.
