Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Please be advised that unless the account owner is able to access the account, subscription cancellation is not possible, and Microsoft personnel cannot retrieve this information.

Kindly follow the guide on the official Microsoft website to investigate the details and locate the charge from Microsoft at this link:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-investigate-a-billing-charge-from-microsoft-398c5328-364c-d5e4-ea8f-f5ad60562a93

If you're able to find the transaction and if this happens to be a forgotten subscription renewal, you can check if it is eligible for a refund through this link:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-get-a-refund-on-a-microsoft-subscription-67dca30b-b323-44d5-acc2-e02f9902c472

You may also try contacting Microsoft Billing Support for further assistance in tracking the charge:

    https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=S.HP.SmcContactUsLanding

Type "Billing Issue" > click "Get Help" > Scroll down to Sign in to Contact Support > Select "Contact Support" > Microsoft 365 and Office > Billing and Payment Updates > Confirm > Chat with a support agent in your web browser

If you and the Support Team are unable to find the transaction in all of your accounts, you'll need to contact your financial institution/bank directly to dispute it, and they may process a refund, as this would be considered a fraudulent charge.

You may also need to have your card blocked and request a new one.

However, if the subscription charge came from a third-party retailer such as Apple (App Store), Amazon, or Google Play, you will need to contact their Support to cancel the subscription and review their refund policies, as stated in this article: https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/manage-your-microsoft-365-subscription-purchased-through-a-third-party

Microsoft Support will not be able to manage the subscriptions that were purchased from 3rd party retailers.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft account dashboard and check Order history for repeated charges close together. Sometimes multiple billing attempts happen when a previous payment could not be collected and Microsoft keeps retrying until successful.
    2. Go to Manage your payments and select Investigate. This can help identify whether:
      • recurring billing is enabled on a subscription
      • another Microsoft account is using the same card
      • the charge is tied to a different purchase or account
    3. Check Services & subscriptions:
      • If Turn on recurring billing appears, recurring billing is already off and the subscription will simply expire on the shown date.
      • If there is no cancel option, confirm the subscription was bought directly from Microsoft. If it was purchased through a third-party retailer, Google Play, or the Apple App Store, cancellation must be handled with that provider.
    4. Check whether there is an overdue balance or an expired payment card on the subscription. If money is still owed, cancellation cannot be completed until the overdue amount is paid.
    5. If the charges do not appear in the Microsoft account order history, it may be a different Microsoft account using the same bank card. Use Investigate in Manage your payments to search for that.
    6. If the billing attempts still cannot be matched to any Microsoft account, contact Wells Fargo and dispute the charge attempts. The context also indicates that when charges cannot be located on any Microsoft account, the card may be compromised.
    7. If more help is needed, use Microsoft guided support or contact support from the Microsoft support site and choose Billing.
