Microsoft for Startups — startup verification failed, no option to correct or re-submit

I'm on Microsoft for Startups (Azure portal → Microsoft for Startups). My startup verification failed — it shows "We couldn't verify your startup" and there is no option to edit or re-submit.

The cause is my own mistake: all the company information I submitted was wrong. I was applying for two startups at the same time — mine and my sister's — and mixed up the data, so the details on this account belong to the wrong startup.

I want to correct the information and re-submit verification for the correct startup so I can keep unlocking the credit milestones ($1,000 → $150,000).

  • Startup: GRIMASA — https://grimasa.com
  • Credits: $1,000, exp Nov 2, 2026
Could a moderator please reset/re-open the verification so I can submit the correct company data? I can provide domain ownership and business registration documents. Thank you.

Hi @Oleksandr Zabolotnii , I hope you are doing well,

If the startup verification has already failed and the portal does not provide an option to edit or resubmit the application, this generally requires assistance from the Microsoft for Startups support team.

Please use Microsoft for Startups → Your Microsoft Team → Get program support from the Azure portal and explain that the verification was submitted with the wrong startup information and that you need the verification process reopened or corrected.

    Include:

    The correct startup/company information.

The domain you want to verify.

A screenshot showing “We couldn't verify your startup.”

    • Any business/domain documentation that can confirm ownership.

I would avoid creating another application or changing the existing sponsorship until the Startup support team reviews the account, as the credits and verification are tied to the startup profile.
