i am not getting email notifications on my iphone from outlook

Just to narrow this down:

1. Are new emails arriving in the Outlook app normally, but you are just not getting the notification?
2. Did Outlook notifications work before, or has this never worked on this iPhone?
3. Do you have more than one email account in Outlook, and if so, does this happen with all accounts?

On iPhone, Outlook notifications usually fail because either Outlook notifications are disabled in iOS, or Outlook is set to notify only for Focused Inbox.

Try this end-to-end check:

1. In iPhone Settings, scroll to Outlook > Notifications.
2. Turn on Allow Notifications.
3. If needed, also turn Sounds on.
4. Open the Outlook app.
5. Open the left navigation menu and tap Settings.
6. Tap Notifications.
7. Under Mail, make sure notifications are turned on.
8. Set mail notifications to All if notifications are currently limited to Focused.

Important details:

• By default, notifications may appear only for new messages in the Focused Inbox.
• If push notifications are turned off in iOS, Background App Refresh is also disabled, so Outlook cannot fetch email in the background and the badge count will not update in real time.
• If notifications are grouped and that is causing confusion, iPhone grouping can be changed in Settings > Notifications > Outlook > Notification Grouping > Off.
