Microsoft Defender Smartscreen give me an alert immediately when I open Microsoft Edge. I have not yet entered a website, but it is blocking bright[pathatlas.com, but I have never heard of nor visited this site. I stopped using MS Edge because of this alert. One day I simply entered a sight I frequent without any issues.
Why am I getting such an alert simply by opening MS Edge?

Launching Microsoft Edge on Windows 11
Hi Arvellini,
It is possible that the browser's startup page or search engine has been modified, or that an add-on is trying to access a website when Edge starts.
