Hello,

there is a wrong padding as I don't see the full avatar when someone is typing. Would be nice to have this fixed.
Thank you :)

    Hello @Kuzmova, Silvia ,

    Thank you for reporting this.

Please note that I'm not part of the Microsoft product team and don't have the ability to change product behavior directly. However, I can help gather additional information to better understand the issue and identify the appropriate next steps.

Could you please provide the following details?

    • Are you using the Teams desktop app, web app, or mobile app?
    • What are the affected operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android,...)?
    • Does the avatar appear cut off in all chats or only specific one-on-one/group chats ?
    • Is the issue reproducible consistently when someone starts typing, or does it occur intermittently?
    • Could you share the Teams version you're using (Go to Teams Settings > About Teams)?
    • Does changing the Teams window size, zoom level, or display scaling affect the behavior?
    • If possible, could you provide a screenshot showing how the avatar is being clipped while the typing indicator is displayed?

This information will help determine whether this is a client-specific rendering issue, a display-scaling issue, or a broader Teams UI bug.

Looking forward to your response so we can get this sorted out for you together.
