    Hello Joel Buch,

Based on the information you provided, I understand that you are experiencing an issue with the Microsoft Authenticator app and are not receiving the 2-digit verification code.

You can try signing in to your account using the 6-digit one-time passcode (OTP) generated by the Microsoft Authenticator app by following the steps below:

    1. Log in to your account. When prompted for MFA, select “I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now.” enter image description here
    2. Choose the second option: “Use a verification code.” enter image description here
    3. You will be prompted to enter the verification code same as below enter image description here
    4. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device. Tap your Business account and you will see a one-time password (OTP) code valid for 30 seconds. Please enter the code. enter image description here

If you still unable to access to your account and you are not the only administrator of the organization, you can contact to the other admin to reset your multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings from the Microsoft Entra admin center. For guidance, they can refer to this article: Manage authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication.

If you are the only admin of the organization, you will need to contact the Microsoft Support Data Protection team to have your MFA reset. Please locate the appropriate Microsoft support hotline and contact the frontline support team so they can raise a ticket on your behalf: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Only Data Protection team can help you to revoke the session and reset your password, account, MFA...

Data Protection Team will first verify your ownership of the account and revoke your MFA once confirmed. After that, you can set up the Microsoft Authenticator app again on your new device.

Feel free to let me know if there are any updates or if you have further questions regarding this issue.
