cannot open shared files in onedrive

Recently last 2-3 days the shared files on one drive are not opening. the popn is blank. I tried everything, diffrent browser, log out log in, different network but problem persists. Thev file can be downloaded, but it does not open in pop up window, the window is blank. I am using Mac

Since the issue persists across browsers, sign-in, and networks on Mac, use these checks that match blank or failed file-open behavior in OneDrive/SharePoint:

1. Try opening the file directly in the desktop app instead of the browser popup:
   • In OneDrive or SharePoint, select the file.
   • Select More > Open > Open in app.
   • This requires the OneDrive sync client to be installed and running.
   • Files On-Demand must also be enabled.
2. If the file is in a shared location and depends on other files, sync the containing folder and add a shortcut to the shared folder in OneDrive, then try again. This is recommended for unexpected behavior when opening shared files.
3. If the problem is specifically browser-based, test in a private browsing window. If the file opens there, clear the browser cache.
4. If the file opens but is read-only or does not behave correctly in SharePoint, use the file menu instead of the file name:
   • Select the three dots next to the file.
   • Choose Edit.
5. If the Mac is on macOS 15 and apps freeze when opening or saving files stored in OneDrive Desktop or Documents folders:
   • Update to macOS 15.2, where this issue is resolved.
