I received this notice: Your ******@outlook.com Microsoft account is currently 868 GB over your storage limit of 5 GB. When you’re over your storage limit, you can no longer:

  • Save and back up new files, photos, or videos to OneDrive
  • Sync files across your devices
  • Send and receive emails from Outlook.com

To resume using your storage and email, manage your storage to make space by deleting files you don’t need. You can also upgrade your Microsoft 365 plan to get more storage.

I have Microsoft 365 family. I thought it came with 1T of storage, why are they capping my account?

    Hi,

I will help you out with this issue. This issue is very strange since you said you have a Microsoft 365 family subscription. Let me first verify the subscription status and the storage status.
