Hello @Arwa
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
I understand that you're unable to create a new Pay-As-You-Go subscription and are receiving the following message:
"To create a subscription for this billing profile, view and pay the current invoice"
even though your current invoice balance shows as 0.
This behavior can sometimes occur when there is a pending billing transaction, an invoice that has not been fully processed in the billing system, or a billing profile synchronization issue. Even if the portal displays a zero balance, the billing account may still be flagged internally, preventing the creation of a new subscription.
To troubleshoot, please try the following:
- Navigate to Cost Management + Billing in the Azure portal.
- Review all invoices and billing profiles associated with your account, including any recently closed or canceled subscriptions.
- Check whether there are any invoices with a status of Due, Pending, or Processing.
- Verify that your payment method is valid and up to date.
- Sign out of the Azure portal, clear your browser cache, and sign in again to see if the billing status refreshes.
If the issue persists, I recommend creating a Billing Support Request so that the Azure Billing team can review the backend status of your billing profile:
- Sign in to the Azure portal.
- Go to Help + Support.
- Select Create a support request.
- Choose Billing as the issue type.
- Include the following information:
- The exact error message
- Screenshot showing the invoice balance as 0
- Billing profile ID (if available)
- Confirmation that the previous Pay-As-You-Go subscription has been deleted
- The email address associated with your Azure account
Regards
