Why can't I turn on my location on my computer. I cannot set up my printer because my computer is not discoverable.

    Hi @Michelle McHenry

Looks like your trying to enable location services along with Network discover.

    For location services:

    • Settings > Privacy & Location > Location, toggle Location services on (Sometimes Let apps access your location)

    For Network Discovery

    • Start > Search 'Control Panel' > Network and Sharing center > Advanced sharing settings > turn on Network Discovery and File and printer sharing.
    • If it doesn't work, make sure your Wi-Fi is private by going to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Properties > under Network profile choose Private.

This should fixes it! I'm hoping to hear back from you!

    Best regards,

    Nanta

Click your Start Button, type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.

Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\LocationAndSensors

Please provide a screenshot of that Registry Editor page.
