    Try these checks in order:

    1. Do not keep requesting new codes repeatedly. Too many requests can trigger a temporary block and Microsoft may stop sending codes for a period of time.
    2. Check spam/junk folders if the code should arrive by email. Valid verification emails come from @accountprotection.microsoft.com.
    3. Check the correct mailbox or phone:
      • For email, codes are sent only to the primary alias or another email already added as a sign-in verification method.
      • For phone, make sure the number is correct.
    4. Check phone settings:
      • If texts from unknown numbers are blocked, disable that block and choose I don't have a code to request another one.
      • If the inbox is full or the messaging app is not working correctly, clear storage or fix the messaging app.
      • If the number is a VOIP number, it cannot be used for verification codes. Use a mobile number instead.
    5. Check whether the security info is correct:
      • Sign in to the Security basics page: Sign in
      • Select Update info.
    6. If access to the listed phone or email is lost, select I don't have any of these during sign-in and follow the prompts to replace the security info.
    7. If a message says “make sure you can receive a security code”, verify or add new security info. This can be skipped for 24 hours at a time, but after 7 days it must be completed before sign-in continues.
    8. If the issue continues, use the Microsoft Sign-in helper: Sign-in helper

    Important:

    • Microsoft may temporarily delay or block code delivery because of unusual activity or heavy compromised traffic from a location. These cases are automatically resolved after some time.
    • Support agents are not allowed to send verification codes or change account details.
    • Do not change all security info at the same time, because the account may be restricted for 30 days.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Since you can't receive the verification codes, please try these steps:

    1. Avoid submitting multiple requests to phone numbers, since this could stop verification codes from being delivered.
    2. Suspicious traffic from your geographical location may cause delays in delivering verification codes. These uncommon issues usually resolve on their own after some time.
    3. Check your email inbox, junk and spam folders in case you received the codes there.

If you still can't receive the codes, this may indicate that your account is blocked due to unusual activity. You will not be able to receive verification codes until the account block expires, as stated by Microsoft, particularly under "I'm not getting my Microsoft account verification codes": https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/troubleshooting-verification-code-issues-409090c4-92b5-42b9-8ae6-bcc97e62fc48#:~:text=If%20you%20received%20a%20Microsoft%20verification%20code%20that%20you%20did#:~:text=If%20you%20received%20a%20Microsoft%20verification%20code%20that%20you%20did

Kindly perform these steps to fix the error:

    1. Perform a password reset via Incognito/InPrivate window using different devices and network services.
    2. If it doesn't work, wait exactly 24 hours to reset the password.
    3. If the issue persists, kindly wait exactly 48 hours to perform another password reset.
    4. In case the 48 hours don't work, you may need to wait a longer period, exactly a week. The idea is to wait for the account lock to expire first before you reset the password.
    5. Lastly, if the error remains after a week of waiting, try to submit an account reinstatement form in order to check your account status and if it can be reinstated: https://www.microsoft.com/concern/AccountReinstatement?SilentAuth=1&wa=wsignin1.0 You may receive the results via email within 48 - 72 hours.

Important: Please make sure not to attempt to sign in or reset the password within that timeframe (24 hours, 48 hours, and a week), as this may reset the lock cooldown.

Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
