cannot use word on new computer

Question

I cannot use my dowloaded Microsoft 365 subscription and word because it says I do not have a valid subscription, even though, on another page, I can easily sign in to Microsoft 365 and see my subscription.

Is this a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription?

Log in to your Microsoft account here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

Does your subscription show there as active? Are you logged in to your Office apps with the same Microsoft account?
