If the Windows 11 upgrade is not appearing in Windows Update, use this path:

    1. In Windows 10, go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
    2. If the upgrade still does not appear, run the Windows Update troubleshooter:
      • Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Windows Update > Run
    3. Check free storage. Windows needs at least:
      • 16 GB free for a 32-bit OS, or
      • 20 GB free for a 64-bit OS
    4. Restart the PC, then check Windows Update again.
    5. If Windows Update still does not offer Windows 11, use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant to upgrade manually.

Before upgrading, back up personal files. If storage is low, free space first. If TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot is disabled, enable them in BIOS/UEFI because they can block the upgrade.
