Console window missing on run

When I try running programs on my workshop PC (Windows 7) in the Small Basic editor, the editor goes dark and the gives the "Your program ____ has started and is running" view, but the console window does not show up.

I have reinstalled multiple times, checked for updates and have run both the installer and application as an administrator.

On my office PC, which runs Windows 10, I am able to run programs without any issues at all. In the past, I had Small Basic on a different Windows 7 machine and it worked perfectly.

Does anyone know why this is happening? How can I fix this?

Thanks

    A couple of ideas:

    1) Does Windows 7 have Service Pack 1
    2) Is the .NET framework 3.5 or 4.5 installed ?
    3) Is the workshop PC be administered by itself or by an administrator? There may be some restrictions.
    4) Try Small Basic Prime. With the better development environment, there may be error messages........ litdev.co.uk

Do you have the same version of SB on all machines?
If you try a very simple program ("Hello world" ) is the result the same?
