This is still an ongoing issue as of today with the latest Epic Launcher/Online Services updates.

How is it even remotely possible that Microsoft and Epic haven't found a solution for this issue since 2024?
How can 2 multi billion companies be to incompetent to find a solution for an issue that exists for 2 years?

Also how can it be that EAC is able to SILENTLY disable security features on my PC? Shouldn't Windows prevent this from happening and prevent EAC from installing/running in the first place?

Either ban this trash program once and for all and force Epic to use something that is actually programmed by human beings and not some hostage held monkeys or work together with them on finding a solution that does not SILENTLY turn off security features on my PC without even giving the slightest hint of it doing so!

No other Anti-Cheat software is incompatible with this feature nor do any of them silently change security settings on my PC.

It's not Microsoft's problem and Epic Games states clearly on their own website that this software is incompatible with Microsoft's security feature, so you're complaining in the wrong place.

EAC driver error 1275 - Driver load error in Windows 11 - Epic Games Store Support

3rd-party gaming companies that don't use Microsoft's Xbox software are notorious for such issues, while that is Microsoft's supported operating environment for games, whether that's a preferred platform for these 3rd-party companies or not.

It's really just your choice of games vs platform, nothing more or less.
