I noticed a charge on my credit card for Microsoft 365 renewal of $99.99 on my credit card. I didnt authorize this and my Microsoft account is showing no payment activity. How do I get this refunded?

    1. Check whether the charge is tied to a different Microsoft account. Go to the Manage your payments page and select Investigate. An unrecognized charge can happen if the wrong Microsoft account was used, recurring billing was enabled, or a previously declined charge was retried.
    2. If the charge was for a subscription purchased directly from Microsoft, sign in to Services & subscriptions at Sign in, find the subscription, select Manage, then Cancel. Refund eligibility is determined automatically during cancellation.
    3. For Microsoft 365 subscriptions, in most cases a refund may be available within 30 days of the initial purchase or before the first recurring billing date, whichever is sooner. There is also a one-time right per Microsoft account, per subscription product, to refund the most recent recurring billing charge if cancellation happens within 30 days after payment.
    4. If the subscription does not appear in the account being checked, that supports the possibility that a different Microsoft account was used. Continue the charge investigation from Manage your payments.
    5. If the subscription was purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation and refund must be requested through that store’s support instead of Microsoft.
    6. If the charge still cannot be identified, use Contact Microsoft Support and choose Get Help, then Contact Support for billing assistance.
    7. If there is concern that payment information was compromised, contact the bank or card provider immediately to prevent more charges. Disputing the charge alone does not prevent additional fraudulent charges.
