    Hi, @John Buckwalter

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. What happens when you try to open Excel? Does it not open, or do you receive an error message?
    2. Can you open other Microsoft 365 apps such as Word or PowerPoint?
    3. Did this start after a recent Windows or Office update, subscription renewal, or any other change?

In the meantime, sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services and check if your Microsoft 365 subscription shows as active.

You can also try Excel on the web at https://www.microsoft365.com to see if the issue is only with the desktop app.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!
