Graph API for importDeviceIdentityList is not working

I have an application which queries POST /deviceManagement/importedDeviceIdentities/importDeviceIdentityList API to import device list to Intune. I have given all the right permission as mentioned in the documentation.

I am able to fetch access Token but when I used this access token to do a POST, I see following error: User's image

Not sure what the issue is here. How can I resolve this issue?

Seems I can reproduce this, looks like an issue with the backend. I'll try pinging some folks, but it's best if you open a support request and report this.

@Vasil Michev I think I’ve identified the cause: my virtual machine's serial number follows the format "0000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000-00". It contains hyphens ("-"), which prevents registration, yet the API fails to validate this. Since this format is supported during VM creation or enroll Intune when joining an Entra ID domain via a provisioning file (.ppkg), I believe this mechanism needs to be adjusted.
