    Hello Wallace,

I'm sorry to hear about the experience you've had trying to reach support.

If you are the Microsoft 365 administrator for your organization and need assistance from Microsoft Support, I'm not sure which support channels you've already tried, so I'd like to share the available options:

1/ If you can still access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center

The fastest and recommended option is usually to create a support request directly from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Help and support. This routes the case to Microsoft Support and allows them to contact you through the available support channels.

For reference: Get support for Microsoft 365 for business.

2/ If you can no longer access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and phone support has not been successful

One workaround that some administrators have used is to create a temporary Microsoft 365 trial tenant and then contact Microsoft Support from that tenant's Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Here's how you can do it:

1/ Go to Microsoft 365 Business Plans & Pricing | Microsoft 365 (select "Try for free" in an enterprise subscription).

2/ Follow the instructions provided to create a trial tenant.

3/ Once the new tenant is created, go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Help and Support to submit a support ticket, requesting to speak with the Data Protection Team on behalf of your original tenant.

4/ In the ticket description, you'll need to clearly explain that you're trying to regain access to your previous Microsoft 365 tenant as a single admin and that you need help from the Data Protection team.

5/ Cancel the trial subscription of the new tenant once the issue with the original account is resolved, to avoid unwanted charges. Cancel your Microsoft business subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin center | Microsoft Learn.

I hope everything gets sorted out soon. Feel free to let me know if there are any updates.

Use Microsoft’s support entry points that can connect to a live agent or callback:

    1. Open Get Help on the web and describe the issue.
    2. Select Contact Support when prompted.
    3. Choose the product or service.
    4. Choose the category.
    5. Select one of the available contact methods:
      • Chat with a support agent in your web browser
      • Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you

If using Windows, Get Help in Windows can also be used. If self-help does not resolve the issue, the app can route to Contact Support and then offer chat, callback, or Global Customer Service Phone Numbers depending on product, scenario, subscription, region, language, and hours of operation.

For Microsoft account sign-in problems, start with the sign-in helper. Support agents cannot send password reset links or change account details.

For business/work accounts, contact the organization’s IT helpdesk or admin if the support path is managed by the organization.
